Busker Doug

I met Doug the Busker down at Granville Island the other day. The market had closed and foot traffic was almost non-existent. Nonetheless, Doug was very content to entertain an audience of one - himself.

Doug sang this war-protest song to me that he had recently penned. He would've given Stompin' Tom a run for his money.

On "National Workers Day" I came across this protest march at Main and 18th. Being surrounded by people passionate about their cause was both contagious and empowering.
