Usually when I stumble across a card game it's to see who's wagering the most or who's bluffing. But what struck me about this poker game at a local community center was the commaraderie. It was warm. It was easy. It doesn't get any better than this -- a friendly card game with your best friends.

Mr. Wah Lui

I met Mr. Lui in Three Hills, Alberta. He got his start as a press photographer in Hong Kong and did a stint in the South Pacific. Due to his wife's deterioriating health, he decided to give his globe-trotting career a rest. But he still has the 'bug.' I sat and talked with him for hours.
